As a teenager, Philippe engaged in various activities as photographer in the surroundings of the Antwerp Academy of Arts and was published in local magazines such as ‘Winners’.

Parallel to studying, he kept in touch with his passion, not only was he photogtapher for his student fraternity but he also participated to photo contests such as the world-wide contest organised by the French magazine ‘PHOTO’ resulting in publications in 1990, 1992 and 2000.

The following years, Philippe concentrated on his career but in the meantime, while he first tried out fashion and sports photography, he now started to practice reporter photography while globetrotting.

Not willing to compromise his passion, Philippe has been publishing again since 1999 through assignements such as the coverage of Rock concerts for ‘Nightlife’ and ‘Le Jeudi’. He held exhibitions, Visions of Peru in 1999, Mysteries of Tibet in 2001, willing to share the emotions and beauty of the children’s portraits, colorful market places or peaceful landscapes brought back from all over the world.

Working on a portfolio, Philippe continues to travel around the world, not only into the wild of nature but also to cities such as Buenos Aires, NYC, Johannesburg or his hometown Antwerp, buiding up a collection of photographs he is most happy to share with you.
